Tammy is a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) based in the United States who believes in fostering empowerment, not dependency. Her journey into advocacy began in 2011 when she spoke with individuals being trafficked in Hamburg, Germany’s red-light district. That transformative moment inspired her to dedicate her life to dismantling systemic vulnerabilities.

Phunziro Chapinza
Community Health and Cultural Engagement Specialist (Malawi)
Phunziro Chaphinza was born on November 20, 2002, in Thyolo District, Malawi. Despite facing the loss of both parents at a young age, Phunziro has channeled his resilience and dedication toward serving his community and making a meaningful impact. He has two younger brothers, Naphan and Isaac, who inspire his unwavering commitment to improving lives. Phunziro completed his primary and secondary education at Namingomba schools and earned a Diploma in Public Health Management and Research from Soche Technical College in Blantyre. Equipped with this foundation, he gained hands-on experience working at Thyolo District Hospital, where he applied theoretical knowledge in practical settings to address pressing health needs. With a passion for improving health and well-being, particularly in Thyolo and neighboring villages, Phunziro strives to empower his community through accessible healthcare solutions. Currently residing in Blantyre, Malawi, he remains dedicated to advancing public health initiatives that foster resilience, equity, and wellness for all.

Sphiwe Golomera
Engagement and Outreach Assistant (Malawi)
Sphiwe Golomera is from Kadzumba Village in Chikwawa, Malawi. Born on April 23, 2002, Sphiwe has built resilience and leadership skills through significant life experiences. After completing the Malawi School Certificate of Education (MSCE), Sphiwe worked with Pakachere as a Girls Club Advisor for six months, gaining valuable experience in community engagement and youth development. As the eldest child, Sphiwe stepped into a leadership role within the family in 2016 following the separation of their parents. With the strong support of their mother, younger sister, and brother, Sphiwe continues to pursue personal growth and community impact
