Health crises are one of the main ways people are pulled into trafficking. When a family faces an untreated illness, medical debt, or the loss of a breadwinner, desperation sets in. Children get pulled out of school to work, and families take risks they wouldn't normally take just to survive—leaving a wide-open door for traffickers.

To cut off that vulnerability at the root, we are building a village-level health initiative focused on:

• Basic Care on the Ground: Working to ensure every village has access to a local nurse or health worker who can handle primary care and early treatment.

• Stopping Medical Crises Early: Catching health issues before they turn into emergencies that force families into high-interest debt or force kids out of the classroom.

• Keeping Households Stable: Keeping parents healthy and children in school so families stay secure and resilient against exploitation.
